A larger style Ensuite presented the perfect opportunity to showcase some of our more premium brands; sanitaryware by Villeroy & Boch, vanity furniture by Laufen, brassware & shower by Vado and designer mirror by HIB. Our client’s original remit was to centre on a free-standing bath positioned in front of a slate-style feature wall. Up-lighting is far from typical but placed behind the bath it creates the perfect ambience especially when switched on in isolation.
The basin unit sized at 800mm wide features both a main interior drawer as well as a hidden jewellery drawer. The standard basin top was replaced with a bespoke corrian onyx marble countertop with the vanity bowl resting nicely on top. The shower enclosure is walk-in style comprising a fixed 1200mm glass panel with 300mm hinged deflector panel. Extra storage was provided in the form of the recessed box with lighting. Access to the shower workings couldn’t be easier with Vado’s Digital solution – their ‘i-phone’ style controller is fitted wirelessly at before entry to the shower area.
Finally, when time allows why quickly shower when you can soak away the week’s stress in a large free-standing bath – rather fitting for a dream Ensuite like this.
